Like, the link to the image? If it's your image, you can host it on whatever site you like (I use imgbb, some people use imgur or catbox.moe) and it'll give you a link that you can use. If it's someone else's, you can usually long press the image, select "Open link in new tab" and copy it from there. It's basically the same syntax as posting a link, just without anything in the [ ] brackets, and with the exclamation point in front.

You can do the normal upload, and then in the body of the post use this syntax (without the spaces) to post images

! [] (Link_to.image)

I had a ton of fun with Linux today, I found a terminal app that makes a cow give you Chuck Norris jokes lol

I'm currently daily driving a 2009 MacBook with Debian 12 XFCE, essentially on 3GBs of RAM because I've also got an Ubuntu server running for a little sysadmin course I'm doing (Linux upskill challenge if anyone's interested), and I really can't complain! If anything, the 2.4 GHz wireless card is an issue, but that just makes my downloads slow 🤷‍♂️

I mean, it got announced last year and has an impressive looking trailer, and a website with a pre-register thing, so it doesn't look like anyone's planning on pulling it. However, the developer's site does have eight job openings pretty overtly advertised on the front page, so we'll see lol

One of these I know is a sci-fi RPG called Exodus, it's got the director from KOTOR and a bunch of old BioWare devs, and apparently Matthew McConaughey is a voice actor. It's supposed to be like Mass Effect, but bigger, so I'm looking forward to it.

For the end user, the only real difference is that Lemmy has had more time to be developed, PieFed just started up like a month ago.
