  • We can require disclosure without providing a government backed monopoly. Especially when the modern world has corporations enjoying the benefits of the monopoly, at the expense of individuals.

  • For one, she could use her veto power to prevent the corporatists from gaining another inch. Second, there is a lot that can be done with executive orders. Third, as we’ve seen with Trump, the president can move forward with any policy they want- any limitation on power without enforcement is not a real limitation.

  • They are working at the lower levels, too. But gatekeepers like you insist they gain seats at the bottom before even considering going for high ranking positions, because you know there are systems in place at the bottom to block change candidates.

    Eat shit.

  • It’s still a misguided policy aimed at furthering the lie of individualism. Which why we have so many ridiculous true stories of parallel invention, and scientists racing to the patent office to claim full credit.

These people are building on the works of all those who came before. All should benefit from the results. And all should enjoy a basic standard of living, instead of this cut throat first past this finish line system, where all who fall behind will suffer.

  • This is called being a “reactionary.” You don’t want to drastically change the system in ways that’ll make things better for all. You just want to return to a previous status quo you enjoyed.

  • I’m cool with it. I think we should require almost everything to be public domain. But I think those personally contributing to the public domain should be recognized, and no one should be allowed to get rich off of it.

  • LoL. Right, everyone who isn’t willing to fight to the last Ukrainian in this proxy war is a “Russian propagandist.”

How can the poll be accurate? You nafo bots insist there isn’t any possible way for them to hold an election until the end of the conflict, but they can collect accurate polls?

Funny how the polls always end up pro-nato, but in elections the people keep trying to elect neutrality politicians.

  • Absolutely. I’ve tested this with friends, and we pick random topics or products we would never need or look up. Sure enough, we both start getting ads within 24 hours.

Got into a rare mild argument with my wife last week, and we started getting marriage counseling and dating app ads. Fucking infuriating.

Notice the plausible deniability that’s always put into ‘we are not spying on you statements.’ Zuckerberg will tell Congress, ‘Facebook is not listening on your phone,’ but that leaves it open for a third party partner to be doing the spying for them.

  • You should read Jeffrey Sachs’ breakdown of events. You’re just repeating propaganda that’s in no way factual.

The people voted for neutrality. The US removed the president in a soft coup by backing far right extremists. The people again wanted a neutrality president, so Zelenskyy ran on that platform, then completely flipped once elected, and has refused to hold elections since.

This doesn’t have a damn thing to do with what the Ukrainian people want. They’ve made their preference clear plenty.

  • Which is it? Should the Minsk agreements have been followed or not? Because every action you’re describing by the west is a violation of the agreements. Zelenskyy ran on neutrality, and respecting agreements made with Russia, then reversed course once elected, and now refuses to hold elections and risk the people electing a real neutral candidate.

You have a complete misunderstanding of the basic facts in this conflict: https://savageminds.substack.com/p/save-ukraine-from-american-meddling
