  • Of all the people, how do we always end up with the worst...

We have yet to see the worst, unfortunately. If there's 1 thing I've learned about the GOP, it's that they can always reach into their bottomless pit of depravity to pull out an even bigger degenerate.

Remember when people thought it couldn't get any worse than Bush/Cheney? Oh how wrong we were.

  • There isn't a reason to run a section of your company if it costs you money.

It's funny that you say this, because Google intentionally ran YouTube without making any profit from it for many years. The goal (which they succeeded in) was to starve out any competition and establish YouTube as the online video monopoly. Ever since establishing that monopoly, they've been squeezing more and more money out of the platform knowing that social inertia will work against any would-be competitors (everything is on YouTube, all of the content creators are on YouTube, all of the viewers are on YouTube, so how does someone convince enough people to move to another platform?).

  • That they won’t is neither the democrats’ fault nor the democrats’ job to save them from.

Also worth mentioning that reaching across the aisle to elect white supremacists and insurrectionists would not be "saving" the GOP from extremists.

  • The Democrats end game is to vote for their preferred candidate. The real question is "what is the GOP's end game?" Continue nominating white supremacists and insurrectionists to kowtow to the most extremist bloc of their party, then whining when Democrats don't make up for their inability to whip the necessary votes?
