You thought wrong. Lemmy was created as a decentralized link aggregation platform for the fediverse. Also, Lemmy's creators are not in charge of lemmy.world. That's the whole point: people can create their own instances with their own rules and moderation philosophies without having to answer to any one ruling entity.

If you don't like it, go make your own instance.

That's just her shtick. She'll make comments that make her seem a little more reasonable than your typical Republican, but when push comes to shove she's got the exact same policy decisions. At one point she was pretending to be less extreme about abortion than other candidates, a few days ago she said she would support a national ban.

My favorite is googling something, the first result is a reddit post asking the exact question I need answered. There is only one reply telling the OP that they could easily Google it instead of asking on Reddit.

If you're using a brother printer you can just cover the ink "window" on the empty cartridge with black electrical tape. The printer will yell at you for using 3rd party ink, but after that it will let you print.
