Don't know how expensive is in Australia, but in Europe most of the time you can find the supermarket brands of legumes at about a euro for a can (medium sized). So it's not that bad, and more practical unless you are cooking for several people.

I thought that they halted development on squadron 42. I will be curious of what comes out after 10 years at the very least

I can't even imagine how you can possibly say its a bad take. They were all fair criticisms of that phone, if it doesn't apply to you very well, but the fact that it's slower than an old phone it might matter to some specially in the optic of keeping that phone for 5/6 years or more...
