  • lack of enforceable centralized moderation policy a lot of morally grey or dark communities and instances exist, and it is more susceptible to bots.

    You got an example?

Centralized modding permitted jailbait on reddit... Which can easily be a crime...

  • yeah once all three level up and improve integration, corpo socials will get cooked. youtube will be a lot harder to take down but hopefully can be built on success of the the other projects to make peertube viable. it will require proper capital thought, i am not sure how will get handled but it would have to be community capital since VC cash is toxic.

  • People just want to control your speech.

Unless you are insulting somebody it is none of their business. With that beign said people will have melt downs over it, I just let them have at it. It does require a thick skin but it can be fun. Since these people are generally not very bright. They think they are imposing "social consequences" but in reality most people don't give a fuck and can actually understand context.

Going forward just avoid having stupid idiots around, it makes for much better conversation tbh

  • What is a negative interaction?

Half the time people can't handle a polite disagree on the topic... jfc

Personally, my negative iterations are limited to censorship by mods who don't like my vibe. I really don't care, just block their communities and keep shit posting. Fedi's is structure ensures that nobody is silenced and that's why this place will end being the "front of the internet"

  • Some games will have younger audience, I really don't see an issue tbh but their spazzing can get annoying quick

I am not sure what's in vogue now. But for example elite dangerous used to have a strong community for middle aged cucks. Eve online too I heard

I was able to reconnect with high schools and college friends recently via video games. If you got old friends like that, might be worth reaching out. Everyone seemed settled in a rut and bored now and willing to do it. When I tried it 10 years ago, everyone was busy "living life"
