  • I am in same situation but additionally I only use Linux and some sellers (I.e amazon) would require you to install some software to wallowed to watch the content you bought. I don't want to install apps I have no clue what it does to my privacy and even if I wanted, its not available for Linux.

    Another option is to buy the CD/DVD but I'd have to buy a DVD reader, pay for import customs and shipping. So I ed up paying more than the value of the product itself.

  • My new Asus laptop didnt support S3 sleep.

    Turns out it does indeed support it but the BIOS claims it isnt.

    I found a patch for Linux ACPI that would make it enable S3 anyway and lived happily ever after

  • When u say US failed to do, you are giving impression that US wanted or tried but failed.

    US has severed its relations with Iran since Islamic revolution more than 50 years ago. Its not beneficial for them that Saudi Arabia (their ally) have good relationship with Iran.. Now that relationship between Saudi Arabia and US is getting worse after murder of the journalist khashougji and Biden calling for Bin Salman to be punished, China stepped in and tried get the two countries together
