This isn't entirely true. I got Zelda TOTK for $40 on release. Kind of.
I bought Costco Nintendo gift cards which saves you $20 (if I remember right) and then bought the combo pack deal which included TOTK. It came out to getting every game for $40 each. Of course, the physical copy is a whole different story.
A bit of an exaggeration. Your wallet speaks, sure. But I haven't been to a lot of places in years, some even for decades and they're still doing just fine. I didn't buy any Nintendo console from the NES until I got a Wii paying half with a friend.
And outside of coop couch, the switch pales in comparison on just about everything else.
Game prices: higher

Removable controllers: pop off or loosen during solo gameplay causing everything to pause in order to fix it, which can, but isn't always, be a quick easy fix.
Plus, games like Animal Crossing that allow coop couch still demand individual switch consoles if you want the full experience for multiple people.

Which is almost always the case with such laws. Never enforced unless it's simple or if it's a person of influence, solved no matter how complicated within a few days. Solved might even be a bit of a stretch here too though.
More like a shit candidate but decent President. He absolutely should have been a one term and allowed dems to run a proper primary. Of course, then the dems would shut out actual progressive candidates, but that's a whole other thing.
I take it more as they're life is already in crisis mode. The stock market crashing might affect their life indirectly, but it's just another turd on the pile.
