  • while Putin doesn't deserve sympathy, it's important not to dehumanize horrible dictators and evil people either. We need to keep in mind that anyone is capable of going down those paths if the conditions are right.

    Dehumanization can easily lead us to ignore the warning signs of these things in others. An unfortunate contributor to the struggles of victims of all kinds of abuse.

    Please continue to condemn Putin and his actions. Just please don't lose sight that he is a human, same as the rest of us, and we all share the potential to be tempted by the same evils.

Fifteen minutes to look over the options in whatever new software you're using (in general) and you can determine whether the defaults work for you.
