I'm lucky to work in an office that is a healthy mix of ethnicities so when I talk about politics there's enough people to make the racist bootlicking types obey their primary motivator, fear, and keep quiet.

I partially knew that; file names and extensions being cosmetic. I appreciate the deeper explanation on that and why bash scripts start with #!/bin/bash. I knew it was necessary but not exactly why.
