In the settings for the DHCP on your local network what do you have set for your DNS Server? If that setting is empty try filling it with 1.1.1.1 (or whatever DNS server you want).
I recommend getting a PCIE Nic and passing it through to the VM. But you can check to make sure the firewall built into Proxmox is disabled, might be the issue.
I've really liked my pixel 5a as well. Always thought the Google phones had the perfect balance of features, design, and cost. I even got the pixel subscription when I got the 5a because I figured Google wouldn't drop the ball. I get to upgrade to the latest pixel in 2 months and I think I'm gonna pass on pixel 7. Think I'm going to check out the Zenphone 10 because I really like the size and design.
It would be nice if there were a way to hide a post directly. As it currently works I am either required to actually view the post or vote on it. That's fine by itself, but the majority of the posts I choose to view are posts that I would prefer they stick around for a while so I could reread or share with others. Same thing goes with upvotes, don't want a post to disappear because I liked it. Maybe the behavior of hiding on voting should only work with down votes so we don't have to bookmark every post out of a fear of losing it. Honestly, I just want a hide button.
If you are already using BitWarden as your password manager you should know that it also supports 2FA. Before I figured that out I was using Google authenticator because it saves to the cloud and I was paranoid about losing my 2FA.
I've been waiting for the alternate UI's to start popping up. This seems like an interesting project and I'll definitely test it out once it's ready for that, unfortunately I'm not much of a coder even though I try.
That reminds me that I'm missing /r/santacruz ! If anyone knows where to find them on the fediverse let me know. I could host on my instance if a community doesn't already exist.
Bought a book/CD combo from Borders for SUSE Linux when I was in middle school around 2003. Installed it but then went back to windows when I realized networking didn't work.
Pretty sure these types of issues are caused by lag on your home instance. Hosting my own small instance I had no issues enabling 2FA. Maybe try again off peak hours.
One issue I do have is that I am unable to log out without clearing browser cache.
I believe a user on your instance needs to be subscribed to the community if you want your server to pull posts and comments. I recommend you set up an account with no admin privileges and use a tool like Lemmy Community Seeder to get that account subscribed to all the top communities.
EDIT: just realized this post is 16 days old. Gotta fix that sorting algorithm!
As far as I know the bug still exists. It is caused by having the host-name of your server set to the same thing as the domain name for your Lemmy instance. The quick and easy fix is to change the host-name of your server.
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Ruth Ginsburg the Wise?
