Think of Hong Kong when you vote, Taiwan president says

  • I just want them to bring the weight down a little bit. I’m ok with the size, but it’s a little too heavy.

  • That “cinematic trailer” they put out last for Dreadwolf was the same - it was just narration by Varric over still image artwork done in the style of Solas’ murals. Varric is such a fan favorite that of course they had his VA do the voice over. It was pure nostalgia bait. Ditto with the outfit the woman in the N7 clip was wearing - basically just Laura’s outfit in Shep’s colors.

Sorry, but at this point, I need more than nostalgia.

  • Watch, they’ll just tell people to get the (very expensive) Adaptive Controller, never mind that won’t actually work for a lot of disabled folks.

I’ve only had one Xbox, a 360, ABC the only reason it didn’t turn into an expensive dust collector was I could get a third post controller that didn’t cause my thumb and fingers to dislocate, like the in the box controller did. Next generation, the decision of Xbox or PS4 was made FOR me by the company that made the controller I used going out of business. Accessibility really can, and does, make a difference in what console people get.

  • The difference is, we KNOW paintings and drawings aren’t real. We can tell by looking at them at a glance. The same can’t be said of these photorealistic images.

  • Hunter neither holds nor is seeking public office, so who cares?

  • Who said I’m discrediting it? I’m pointing out why more people in Japan decided to try PC gaming in the first place. No matter how good the PC gaming market is, it doesn’t mean jack if a lot of people don’t have PCs at home in the first place to decide to give it a shot.

  • It’s reached a point where now I’m instantly skeptical of any lawyer who starts going on the news circuit while a case is on-going - they’re looking for fame, not to talk about the case.

  • Two big reasons why PC gaming went up since 2020 is covid and Sony deciding to focus on the western market.

Covid meant a lot of people bought computers when they didn’t have them before - they needed computers for WFH and online schooling. A LOT of people didn’t actually have computers at home, because they had phones or tablets because they’re smaller and take up less space. So more people have PCs at home now than did before covid hit.

Then came Sony deciding to focus on the North American and European markets. That meant most PS5s went to NA and Europe, and Japan got very few of them. For a really long time, the only way to buy one was to sign up for a lottery at the different electronic stores for the CHANGE to buy one. And one they started becoming slightly more available, there were still so few most electronic stores required you to have a store membership card or store credit card to get one when they were in stock. Long after you could go into a Walmart or Best Buy in the US and pick one up, we still had nothing but “out of stock” signs over here (even now, the electronics store near me in Osaka does not have the digital edition in stock). Add to that a price hike when it was still almost impossible to get a PS5, and a lot of people got pissed off/gave up and started PC gaming.

  • But how will the CEOs be able to buy their fourth super yacht if they don’t raise prices more? Won’t someone please think of the CEOs stuck with only three super yachts?

  • Oh, I am definitely downloading this once I get home tonight! I just started a new run of the trilogy and am halfway through ME1, so the timing is perfect.

  • Next time, at least read the article before Kool-Aid manning in with your pet issue.

  • The person hit didn’t die, though? No one was “murdered.”

The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, the university said.

  • Yeah, that was updated after I posted it. Good to know they reversed it!
