On the dot as of yesterday

I wonder if we could make more comfortable seats that aren’t easy warm homes for bugs

People who have served mainly and in person if you can.

Pretty hard to verify identities of people on message boards and forums so you could be talking to 1 guy with 20 accounts and 1 direction they want to take things.

We’re vulnerable people to mass opinion, and on the internet mass is easily manipulated.

Agreed, I personally liked true off my chests, am I the asshole, etc. more conversation encouragement but tbh I don’t really see that going over we’ll just get here given how hard it is to have a convo without trolls popping up or people who’ve been brainwashed into using the same sort of logic.

Idk like I say, if we got something good going on, more people will naturally want to come and to stay. We’ve got plenty of lessons we can learn right now from the community in its current size. Why exacerbate the issue

I can’t speak for your experiences or for the stats on muskies so I can’t draw anything officially meaningful, but from my experience in my network of friends there are certain groups (mostly business-centric males) who still think he’s a champion of free speech somehow.

I definitely think it’s starting to unravel a bit but there is definitely still plenty of people out there.

Like I say, people are always gonna bitch about stuff and people they don’t like because it’s easier to vent about that than to vent about our other frustrations which are simply put just way more complicated than continuing to say “bad man bad” (not to be confused as sarcasm, I simply chose to simplify this phrase for simplicity sake)

Windows, because it’s the norm and has the best support without fuss which is what I want after a long day of fussing.

I’ve also had years where I mained Debian as well.

I flip flop because being a techie means I can handle tiny issues or get around corpo bullshit.

Most importantly, I understand people have different taste and opinions and that means that no one person is right.

This is a multidimensional situation thing we’re talking about with endless facets, configurations, etc.

How anyone says their option is the only option is beyond me but it’s most definitely within my grasp to call it moronic and petulant.

Everyone can have their own Reddit

A Reddit has subreddits as well (communities inside)

Your account is made on and tied to a specific Reddit of your choice.

Your Reddit and its “stuff” can be seen by other Reddits normally.

However, if one Reddit decided they don’t fuck with your Reddit, they can remove it from their list of reddits they fuck with. This means that Reddit and their users won’t see your Reddit’s stuff anymore

It’s kinda like instead of having 1 cafeteria with a Bunch of lunch tables, we have a bunch of cafeterias, and each table can decide if they want to block out another cafeteria so they don’t have to hear them anymore. This doesn’t affect other cafeterias or who they do want to hear.
