  • I'd like to point out that we're in this mess because the US doesn't do enough to stop gun companies arming the cartels. No matter how Fox News and The Washington Post spin it, gun companies are horrible organizations that commit horrible crimes.

Disclaimer: this response is solely to point out that that ZK686 is a bumbling shortsighted idiot and in no way represents an endorsement of Claudia Sheinbaum who is an evil piece of shit.

  • We currently know about 202 trillion digits of pi. As for your other question: it is easy to get the next digit of pi from a "mathematical" point of view. By this I mean that we know functions that will approximate pi with as much precision as we want, but actually having a computer do it is very hard. The digits we know today took 3 months and needed 1.5 petabytes of high end storage.

  • I've heard of PhDs struggling to find employment outside of academia because they're "overqualified" (which is HR-speak for "we offer shit pay") but surely it can't be that bad... right? Right?!

  • So you were just curious about common traits between Greece and Finland and weren't trying to make any kind of point? Silly me. You've done so much backpedalling I can't even see you anymore.

  • AI images lack the nuance and emotional impact that real art carries. It's hollow, uncoordinated, and lacks the "soul" people connect to in human-made art.

This exact same criticism was used in the past but aimed at digital art, and, before that, to photography.

  • You implied there were zero common traits when you asked me to list them. Don't try to weasel your way out of it because you were wrong. Here's another common trait between them: they're both part of a geopolitical block of countries that has been trading culture for more than a thousand years. So yes, there's bound to be some similarities and suggesting otherwise is asinine. One more thing: comparing "Europeans" and "Asians" as groups to "black people" is very racist.

  • Whoops. I pulled a statistic from 2009. Anyway, here's another one: they both love public baths. Do you really think you'll come out on top while arguing Finland and Greece have zero common traits? Do you realize how insane that is?
