The first part is clearly a joke. I hate that I need to clarify this but you never know with the amount of sexist idiots in this thread

Enacting change is not the point of the post, it's just a woman making a joke about the way she experiences life to others who may experience life in the same way. Men just got their feelings hurt and now, instead of trying to prove they're not sexist, they're in full denial about the rampant oppression women live every day.

I'm gonna bring this thread up the next time people throw a tantrum when I say Lemmy is sexist.

About 29% of Americans voted for Trump. If we look only at the people who voted, then about 49% voted for him. Stop trying to make it seem like it's the people's fault. The electoral system is clearly broken.

I remember one time I was arguing with some guy about I don't remember what but I left to do real-life stuff and didn't check Lemmy for like 2-3 days and came back to find him arguing with someone else and being adamant that I created another account just to make it seem like more people disagreed with him. Some people prefer to make shit up than to face that they might actually be wrong.

I don't know why, but translucent colored plastic gives me "cheap garbage" vibes. Probably because knock off memory cards and controllers for the PS1/PS2 used exactly that design.
