Did you mean to say 22.04? Also just to consider that the latest Ubuntu LTS (24.04) will be coming out in April, depending on how much of a hurry you're in.
Computers make excellent servants, they take orders well and do exactly what they're told to do. I can't even imagine how it could possibly "teach" anyone anything.
I tried self hosting my own using their docker compose file. The text chat works just fine and is lovely but the voice part was totally broken for me. To be fair it explicitly says in the settings page they're rewriting the entire voice subsystem so I'll try again in the future
My issue with Kodi is that each client had to scan the library and generate thumbnails etc. That should be the server's job which is why I chose Jellyfin. Nicer UI too and more responsive with apps in stores so I don't have to load it manually to fire sticks
Definitely agree with this recommendation! Jellyfin is quite awesome
