  • I think there are many people in the world a given person is compatible with. However, those relationships will be right in different ways.

A relationship is wrong if you can't communicate openly or you feel like they are trampling over your personality.

  • I told this to some French speaking friends when I first found out a few years ago and they were totally non-plussed. Seems like only native anglophones enjoy this fact.

Then again, in France younger people might use the English word "cool" despite the fact it sounds like the French for ass ("cul"). Probably used to it.

  • It's common in a number of different countries, not just India. Typically in the Middle East region.

I believe the logic would be something in between an extended handshake and the Western reasoning for holding hands. Like, "I am giving my attention this person".

  • Not really helpful if you are on another distro but gentoo has a savedconfig flag for the package that lets you store a permanent header file for the DWM variables in with the package manager config files. It integrates really nicely.

  • The currency of Turkey is cheap and international investors don't have any faith in their government to run the economy. The latter means that there is less foreign investment, so coupled with the aforementioned cheap currency, properties are cheap there.

  • The only times I struggle to admit I'm wrong is if my interlocutor has an attitude I find grating. Sometimes in online debates I just don't reply and give people the last word instead of continuing a heated conversation if I think they have a point.

Otherwise happy to admit that I'm wrong if someone cites a study or whatever that says something counter to what I'm claiming.
