  • Try Photon if you are willing to change your client. It's web-based so you can select almost everything

  • In my opinion, C# would be better for this job. It is similar, but has many features that simplify the code, such as top level statements, LINQ, collection expressions and stuff like that. It's also way more popular in game development and that's what most teens are interested in

  • Honestly, nowadays I'd say "ability to install flatpaks" should be the criteria on which we decide whether an OS is really "linux" or not

    I think you should check out what Linux means

  • libwayland is like the lower level stuff while libwayland saves you some work to integrate libwayland
