do you guys shop on places like aliexpress/Temu and if you do what items have pleasantly surprised you?

  • Some arts supplies are good. I'm very poor and I hate consumerism, but I can't really afford the good stuff so I sometimes resort to stuff like this. They do good acrylic markers and have a huge pack of normal markers that's also really decent.

    • As a YouTube premium subscriber, I think they should credit your account every time you go to watch a video and start playing an ad because they signed you out for no reason.

  • Corsica. The Calanques de Piana. The road is barely one coach wide, and it's got a sheer drop on one side and goes straight up on the other. Everybody parks on the passing places so if you meet someone you're screwed. I met a coach. Luckily I was driving a Twingo. I managed to get past it with one side of the car about 5 cm from the drop, with the coach driver helping me out. The coach badly scratched one of the cars parked on the passing place. Karma for the dumb tourist.

  • You can track most flights on flightradar24. It's public information. When I see an interesting plane fly past I look it up on Flight Radar. It's usually on there unless it's a small crop dusting plane.
