  • Not only should they get a lifetime ban, but every athlete should be tested 100% of the time. There is no reason why something as huge and prestigious as the Olympics, with the kind of money it brings in, should not be doing this.

  • People can sue for whatever reason they want, but that doesn't mean a court will entertain it. I'm sure whatever judge this is put in front of will dismiss it immediately.

As for the difficulty discussion. Not all games are made for all players, and that's OK. If it's too hard for you, play sometime else. Soulsborne games do not need difficulty settings, and I'm glad they don't.

  • The only time I've ever seen a folding smartphone in person it had a huge, extremely noticeable crease across the screen. The phone was otherwise in good shape from what I could tell.

When foldable screens first came out I thought to myself, "wow that's pretty neat, but what will it look like after several months/years of typical usage? It'll probably have a crease noticeable enough that I would never want to use one." Turns out I wasn't too far off. No thanks, I'll stick with a regular screen.

  • Hidden Figures. Not quite what you want, but pretty close. The Imitation Game is also worth a watch.

edit: Sorry. I misunderstood your question. It's late and I read it as you asking for movies about early computing, not actually explanatory videos.

  • We're currently in it. Failing to create a clean, renewable, and scalable energy source powerful enough to run a society that is ever increasing in both population and technology without destroying their only inhabited planet has got to be the most common great filter.

Asteroids strikes, super volcanoes, solar CMEs, and other planetary or cosmetic phenomena that exactly line up in both severity and timing are too rare IMO.

Every society that attempts to progress from Type 1 to Type 2 has to deal with energy production. Most will fail and they will either regress/stagnate or destroy themselves. Very few will successfully solve the energy problem before it is too late.
