  • I don't think it federates, but there's Alovoa, an open source dating platform.

  • Wow, thanks for introducing me to Clown Core. 4 songs in and I'm already loving it.

  • Do you mean Trip Hop? A lot of Trip Hop music came out in the 90s. Popular artists were Massive Attack, Portishead, or Tricky among many others

  • Avatar deletions don't federate. When you delete your avatar on your instance, it doesn't get deleted across the threadiverse / fediverse.

  • I miss the ability to view all the posts that I upvoted.

  • Yes, I should have mentioned that I've always played via wired ethernet connection.

  • I played on Google Stadia from day 1 until it got shut down. I mainly played racing games like F1 and GRID, with the occasional session in RDR2 or The Division 2. Latency was never a problem for me.

The main problem that occured over and over in the community was people's slow or broken internet connection at home or their WiFi setup.

I would say the technology for cloud gaming is here today, but the home internet connections of a lot of people aren't ready yet.

  • Error 400000001: Username is password

  • New Trackmania season came out an hour ago. Learning all the new tracks.

  • Have as much fun as you can have today without messing up tomorrow.

  • Hate to break it to you, but water is vegan.

  • I agree. But I prefer the Bandcamp model over the Patreon model.

Bandcamp allows musicians to provide their music with a free and pay-what-you-want option. This way all people have access to the music, regardless of their ability to pay. And the people that are able to pay can support artists with a one-time-payment.

Patreon puts a huge burden on musicians to regularly release music, imho. But that's not how independent music works. Sometimes there will be months or even years without new releases, while the artists are on tour or in the studio.

  • I noticed this on Mastodon and Lemmy. If you share your own music it often gets downvoted or people tell you that Mastodon isn't the right place for promotion. It's really discouraging. Artists who share photographs or paintings get hundreds of upvotes, while musicians get told to not even promote their free music.

  • I hope Bandcamp continues like before. It wasn't changed by Epic and I hope Songtradr doesn't change it.

  • I'm using Eternity, because I used Infinity for Reddit before and it's just the most familiar client for me.

  • I'm testing it with a transparent png for now.

  • I uploaded a transparent png now, since deleting doesn't seem to federate.
