Yes, he interned there and then worked for them for a few years after graduating from MIT. If you’re not familiar, they’re a financial trading firm known for heavy use of esoteric functional languages such as OCaml and being difficult with job interviews.

Jane Street doesn’t hire non-smart people, and to have passed their hiring process he has to at least have been a talented programmer.

Ketchup would be one of my last choices anyway. Maybe with certain mains like fried chicken or chicken fried steak (ok, some people say that's weird but it's what we did at Furr's Cafeteria).

I guess but it seems like only 3-4 of them have gotten sentences higher than what you'd get for having a joint in Mississippi.

I'm sure some truck drivers are very good at it, if they have to drive large trailers often for instance. But a lot of the time their giant trucks can't even fit into a parking spot without taking up more than one space.

Lets see, I just looked it up in the city I lived in and no. No permit to replace in the same location, but a license is required for people who don't live in the house where the work is being performed. I wasn't remotely qualified to do that especially in less than 18 hours, though. My realtor ended up finding a plumber who could come the next morning.

Reminds me of when someone came to fix my bathroom floor, which had a hole in it the entire time my house was on the market because some morons from Home Depot who ruined it were disputing whether they'd fix it. So this guy removed the toilet and sink, finished the bathroom floor, awesome... then he said "oh, I can remove the toilet and sink, but I'm not licensed to put them back, sorry" and left. This was the day before closing.

If they have already initiated the case, Sure. They'd evaluate the evidence in court. If they hadn't, no, they could decide to not bring charges if it seemed like it would be a waste of time and/or they'd be censured for a frivolous case.

Good point, Trump taking office would also mean destruction for Ukraine. And of course he has broadly threatened millions of American citizens too.

Giuliani claims it's bulletproof, completely exonerating evidence. So they couldn't poke holes in it. If such evidence was made public, the prosecution would back down rather than run a hopeless case against him. Of course, we know that he has nothing, as noted.

Those states were never in question, though. Of course Hickedickle Alabama or Idaho are going to vote for a Republican, whoever it is. As usual the actual election is between the states that are close (so called 'purple'... I actually hate this color code the media thought of).

We could try to convince Elron that Rudy is a Great Patriot and deserves a funeral in orbit.

Obviously we all know here that Giuliani has no 'evidence', but if he did and they brought a criminal case, so what? It would get tossed out.

Plus Trump has been threatening (promising, from the POV of his fascist supporters) even worse action against immigrants for a while now.

It's a rational decision. Voting against Biden (and discouraging people about Biden online constantly) helps get Trump elected, which means you're voting for 2 genocides since Trump is clearly planning to greatly harm Central and Southern Americans in the US.
