  • The USA and their pointless War on Drugs is a fucking scam because the problem is the demand for illegal drugs.

The other problem/scam is also the demand for slave labor via prisoners, so there's not much demand for resolving the issue. It also helps that it's a good weapon to weld against marginalized communities, just sprinkle a little crack on them or bring up old marijuana charges and boom, "justified shooting".

  • Who has actually encountered this?

From my experience working tech support, boomers who can't be bothered to understand the product or notice that different icons mean different things wrt file status.

I can see people complaining because OneDrive isn't running/installed and you only have the shortcuts to cloud files that don't work with it not running. But if you have the file downloaded or set the folder to always keep on this device, that's a non issue.

  • Name two capacities that it fails in

Not being a Microsoft product, not giving people something to complain about.

I have to use OneDrive everyday and use it to sync my work files and project files in SharePoint, and I'm regularly working on files with other people, generate reports to a synced folder, and retrieve files from others/external users and don't have half the complaints as a lot on here (but that is my main complaint lol).

Literally the only issue I have with it is with external sharing. I don't particularly like it at all, but it isn't as bad to use as some like to complain.

  • I would say I'm baffled at how her supporters could think she was a decent politician when she doesn't even proofread the bills she votes on and votes against her own opinions regularly.

But then I remember that I could just stop the previous paragraph at 'think' and have my answer as to why.

  • Lol, when the fuck do you think gaming is going to fit into the parental leave? During your 30ish minutes of respite between feedings and exhausted to all hell, or during the off shift time where you're greedily getting every bit of sleep you can?

  • I had moved away a few years and my mother was homeless due to her own choices and lack of effort to do anything. My wife and I were in town visiting her family, and we decided to take my mother out to dinner. During the meal she was (rightly) complaining about the perils of being homeless and having to watch out for the pigs. I suggested that she look into getting into some government housing. You know her response?

"I don't want to be the light in he dark."

If you're as confused as I pretended I was, she means she didn't want to live with/around black people. Which was really fucking surprising to me, considering we had lived with, around, and had been friends with all kinds of POC growing up (as you you tend to do in poor and mixed neighborhoods and when you have to rent out rooms to get by). That level of racism was rather surprising, but she had become toxic as fuck in the years before I moved, so it shouldn't have been.

  • I unironically love Armageddon and The Core. Yes, they're both stupid and unrealistic movies, but that works in their favor about as often as against. Something about the way they play with the core concepts makes me love them.

  • Man, I've stopped following politics in Iowa since I left that shit hole after trump won the first time, and I hate going back. I feel bad for my wife's family who are stuck there and can't afford to move, but no way in fuck would I stay there for anything longer than a long weekend.

Turdstache really fucked over the state, and it amazed me just how quickly the people dropped the mask and turned into the stereotypical hateful redneck goon people think of when thinking of backwoods Midwest.
