Managed to do a bit of searching and Inkipedia has some good information available about all of the ten weapons this season.

Officially announced sub and special:

Anyways, #TeamMoney is in the lead with 35.45%, #TeamFame has 31.89% and #TeamLove has 32.66%.

@esm @SMAyden @splatoon@lemmy.world it was primarily to patch ENLBufferPwn which was patched in several Switch and 3DS games last year via game updates

In Mario Kart 8, they removed recommended tournaments which I'm confused about, but tournaments do rely on Miiverse partially (to create one anyways)

I only participated in 2 or 3 Splatfests in Splatoon 2 tbh, I got Splatoon 2 relatively late, and I don't really know a lot about 1 or 2 Splatfests, especially due to some being regional

@DigitalAudio it's the most popular game on Switch as it is and it's easy to learn how to play, plus all the family can join in on the action

it does suck though that Splatoon 3 isn't in the top 10 best selling games though
