  • What would you say the Palestinians should give? They lost everything.

Should they give the open air prison that Gaza is? Or the web of bantustans that the West Bank became?

They already had everything ripped from them and every day they loose yet another bit of territory to Israeli settlers.

The only peace deal Israel wants is the same they've been enforcing for half a century: that the Palestinians pack their shit and leave their ancestral land for good for Israel to settle.

  • My God said your home belongs to me so...gtfo. Please, leave something in the fridge for dinner. /s

Palestinians themselves, like Jews, descend from the ancient Hebrews. While the Jews left and (somewhat) assimilated in the lands they moved to, Palestinians were assimiliated by the Romans and Arabs. While their language and religion changed they are basically the same people.

  • No contrast. Everything is in shades of gray. They're obsessed with the modern look even if it hurts visibility and usability. If you're old or have a shitty screen you're SOOL. Windows, I'm looking at you. They even removed the color customization so you either use the hideous high contrast mode or you're fucked.

  • Screens should be flat out banned in cars

Can't say I agree. The appearance of GPS was a game changer for me and a lot of people. I still remember the old days where every time I picked the car in an unfamiliar place was a gamble. I can't even count how many gas I wasted going in circles looking for a reference. Found road works? I'm fucked again, I guess.

No, I don't miss those days at all. Now, if you want to tell me infotainment screens need strict regulations, that's another story. Nothing beyond android auto apps, radio and options that only work in a full stop should be allowed. But "voting" with your wallet works. When I bought my car I was indecisive between 2 of them. The fact one of them had most stuff in a infotainment that was below the driver FOV made my choice easy. The one I bought has most buttons as physical ones. Only the radio isn't. The screen is small and I can use it without taking my eyes off the road (which I only use for google maps, spotify and taking calls).

It's also our responaibility as buyers to know what we're getting. I see a lot of people complaining about stuff in their car they should've known while they were still in the looking phase. If you can't research the car you're buying before you buy it then you deserve all the disappointment.

  • Yesterday I had to open a couple of cabinets at work after the keys went missing. I only watched a few YouTube videos and I figured how to open them with my Swiss army knife.

The first one took over an hour. The rest of them took a few seconds. I was amazed how easy it was.
