I kinda figured as much. I’m sure the content is fine on the vast majority of them but when I used to use YouTube as a form of entertainment those types of videos were not my cup of tea. Perhaps there is data to suggest we are outliers.
Honestly I really dgaf. I have a gay sibling and a gay niece. I am an ally and a realist and if I call you out on your bullshit that doesn’t make me a bigot/homophobe. I’ve been arrested defending my sibling so I’d say I’m pretty fucking invested in protecting lgbtq people.
There are tons of people who are lgbtq who use that as a “get out of jail free card” every time they act like pieces of crap or hypocrites. Mastadon has a lot of that.
As a foreign observer, the UK seems to have seen the clown show going on in the “United” States and decided they want in on the ridiculousness. It’s a sad time to be alive.
Nah he/she aggressively came here to announce how much they hate this show. Nobody cares, fuck off. Keep your negativity in your head, the world has enough of it already.
The people on Mastadon are why I chose not to stay there. If you don’t know and adhere to the “expected behaviour” there you’re the devil and a million people with furry avatars will surely let you know.
You’ve never watched so you wouldn’t know if it’s funny or not. Maybe you should try things for yourself before having an opinion on them. May even have fun once and a while.
That was my assumption but I was more wondering if there is research that shows this style is attention grabbing or yields more clicks or something.
