I would think that the privacy obsessed community that is the fediverse would not be interested in sharing their identities/addresses with people on the internet.

I can’t speak to the rest of Canada, but in Alberta, unless your ideas relate to the oil and gas sector, there is no incentive for you here.

Most right wing voters will vote right wing regardless of what the politician says does or looks like (as long as it’s white passing). They don’t care about policy or platform, just voting conservative. The politicians literally can’t do wrong by the voters.
