Why would Microsoft go out of their way to defend against Firefox? The people who primarily use Firefox (including me) are set in their ways and far less willing to switch browsers than, say, the 90% of people who use Chrome.
Not necessarily. Except for a few niche diseases and conditions, 40 years ago is probably a better time than now. Every era goes through peaks and dips in happiness.
I continue to use Firefox because I started using it a while ago and would rather not switch. I have to use Edge for school and it's legitimately equal to Firefox in many ways. With Bing AI added, Edge blows Firefox out of the water.
The issue is when you know your coworkers will be much more stressed because you didn't come in. You still shouldn't go to work if you're sick, but I try not to call out that often for the same of the people I work with.
As an American, that's a way higher tax than I expected. Does everyone pay it, even people earning under a certain threshold? In the US we have social security and Medicare that everyone has to pay.
I do enjoy my US KFC, but I can't go there anymore after taking a peek inside their kitchen and seeing the loads of food safety violations.
