Same. It’s not that it’s “uneventful”, it’s just that each “event” just adds more nonsensical mystery. It feels like Lost, which some people thought was twisty in a clever way. But instead the writers literally just kept throwing twists with no actual end in mind.

I’m sure Severance has some kind of plan, but it feels way longer than it needs to be. It’d make a good movie or limited series, but I’m not into this vibe for multiple seasons.

It is tragic how society fails to realize how good they have it and start voting Right. Then the Right takes hold, treats them like shit, but tells them it’s all in the name of a bright future for them.

They see someone taking drastic action to make their lives better. That they believe him is likely due largely in part to how stupid he is (not how stupid they are).

Boring old guy trying to make progress at a snails pace is not satisfying when there’s a rich (powerful) guy seemingly trying to fight for the little people and willing to do batshit crazy things to do it.

What we need are some Leftist fascists, I guess? They need to be rich, benevolent, kind of stupid, and batshit crazy about doing what is necessary to get everyone healthcare and a living income.

Ah, interesting. I’m actually only (barely) familiar with torrents, insofar as I have downloaded qBitTorrent and enabled its embedded search. I search for thing, sort by most seeds, and choose first relevant one. Usually it all goes well. Plex on my Mac watches the downloads folder, and the TV has Plex installed.

It works, but at least from my limited view of its search results, the seas seem to be drying up. I feel like there are better, non-default searches I could be adding. There was some kind of Jacket plugin that refused to load so it’s just disabled.

Yeah, as a Canadian, this had to happen. Kamala winning would have just delayed this. The trajectory’s been this direction since Reagan or earlier so hitting “rock bottom” was more important.
