It looks like Tumblr at least has a way to opt-out of sharing with third-party services that use AI, but since this has been there it's unclear if it'll change with this new announcement.
It'd be super cool if we could connect article-hosting services with the power of activitypub or something but like one of those commenters mentioned, the issue would always be spam and security.
on the flip side, people should be able to say they want a trans partner.
real talk though, no one should be deceiving anyone if they plan to start a healthy relationship with someone, period.
I'm stealth trans in public and don't feel it's necessary to come out to every one i meet or even work with. But if I'm flirting with someone or know someone has an interest in me, I respect them enough to let them know.
it all comes back to the idea that you don't need to know what someone's genitals look like unless you plan on fucking them.
I believe kbin is updating the API, working on bug fixes and improvements and such, so the site is spotty right now. It said this would be happening for a few days, but that was a few days ago...
There are still a lot of games that don't work for me, even with Proton on Steam. Lutris has just straight up never worked for anything. Managed to get some going with the Heroic Games launcher, but not all. I think it's either a DirectX problem or something with the drivers. I'm not nearly techie enough to know how to even approach solving the problem, just maybe identifying it. I hope you figure it out so we can all get to playing our favorite games.
At first I thought this was good because this is actually what I want my tax dollars to go toward. But it seems like that is not what the writer of this article is saying...
If it doesn't apply to the .org side, that would be great. But even I'm not sure I'd want to stick with them as a company.
