Wow, that is absolutely insane. My parents are around that age and as active and healthy as ever. I expect them to live another 30 years at least. They both still work even, and are damn good at their jobs.
Personally I'm into less than peaceful protest aimed at the most powerful among us. But I hesitate to talk about such things anywhere with anyone. This kind of stuff just makes protestors feel like they are accomplishing stuff while pissing off all the wrong people. For example, I'd cheer them on if they sunk the yaght. But painting it just makes me roll my eyes.
No, I'm not addicted to my phone (I hardly use it) so I don't really see the point in giving up so much functionality. I really need GPS and dumb phones don't really offer that. I've been using smartphones since the Palm OS days with my Treo 600.
This post made me look into it again today. Michelin is claiming they are going to be selling to businesses in areas with rough roads by mid 2024, with business everywhere coming some time after that.
For real, these people should be ashamed of themselves. Go protest someone who actually matters. I don't even own a car and this makes me want to buy an SUV just out of spite.
I never used twitter, and I'm certainly no fan of Elon Musk, but from what I see in the news most of his changes seem to be pretty superficial. Why are people acting like Twitter is dead? Because of a name change and people having blue checkmarks?
I've been playing through 0 for the first time and my first Yakuza game and I LOVE IT. Need to play all the other ones next.
