  • Personally I'm into less than peaceful protest aimed at the most powerful among us. But I hesitate to talk about such things anywhere with anyone. This kind of stuff just makes protestors feel like they are accomplishing stuff while pissing off all the wrong people. For example, I'd cheer them on if they sunk the yaght. But painting it just makes me roll my eyes.

  • No, I'm not addicted to my phone (I hardly use it) so I don't really see the point in giving up so much functionality. I really need GPS and dumb phones don't really offer that. I've been using smartphones since the Palm OS days with my Treo 600.

  • I never used twitter, and I'm certainly no fan of Elon Musk, but from what I see in the news most of his changes seem to be pretty superficial. Why are people acting like Twitter is dead? Because of a name change and people having blue checkmarks?
