  • While I do think there are people who could be great presidents into their 80s mentally, the stresses of the job and how rapidly things change does lend itself to a need for an age cap.

No more than 70 as of the day they would take office sounds good to me as they would leave before their 75th birthday plus it is double the minimum of 35 do it would be easy to remember!

The same could be apllied to the chain of succession. If over 70 on the day they would be swirn in it passes to the next person.

  • Older people tend to wake up earlier, and he is really fucking old. Isn't it weird his old ass is running for president?

  • The thing is, the Republicans have wanted all of those things for the last four decades and have passed numerous laws and while it is good to see people catching on, what the hell took so long?

  • Show that popcorn who's boss!

I haven't had caramel corn in a theater before, but love it. I usually have a napkin handy for any hard bits and just wipe my mouth white putting it on the napkin with my tongue all polite like and the stickiness keeps it stuck to the napkin to toss when I'm done.

  • Yeah, for example-

We interrupt this post to bring you a sob story about the athlete's backstory instead of the olympic sports competition you wanted to see.

  • Since I always add salt and shake my popcorn they fall to the bottom and don't cause any issues. So I guess I accidentally handle them by moving them somewhere I don't end up noticing them while eating.

Well, at home at least. Can't remember when I noticed a kernel at a theater.

  • We’ve been living in bizarro world for almost a decade...

Republicans have been in bizzaro land as long as I can remember, which is back to Regan in the 80s.

  • In addition the the reduced skill barriers mentioned, the other side effect is the reduced time spent finding a matching photo and actually doing the work. Anyone can create it in their spare time, quickly and easily.

  • Yes, at least the criminal part.

The biggest focus of the opinion piece was about money and jobs, with a vague offhanded comment about civil rights and the rights of women without saying what those things are.

  • Depending on the coloration of the material in of the texture and how rough it is, several feet to hundreds of yards/meters away.

But the reason brutalism is easier to see far away is more about the solid rectangular shapes and style than the texture of the material. If you made a concrete version of a building normallly made of stone with lots of fine details like a cathedral it wouldn't be considered brutalism just because it was all concrete.

  • Rough rock coverings are facades!

  • Fake it till you make it is a mindset and approach to overcome self doubt and to be able to improve self confidence. It not a guarantee of success nor does it include ignoring obstacles in your way.

  • Lighter skinned men on tv mostly have makeup to counter the bright lights so they don't appear pasty. They don't generally go for strong eyeliner as part of that makeup.

Vance is a terrible person who opposes anything involving LGBTQ+ folks. His not following the strict gender roles he promotes is worthy of mocking.

  • I mean, we mock Republicans for getting dolled up and then targetting women, drag queens, and trans folks for not sticking to rigid gender expectations because those Republicans are hypocrits. If they weren't so terrible we wouldn't say anything.

  • It does in person.

  • I applaud their efforts and results!

  • The amount of rust seems on track.

  • US was the beta system at best, based on Greek/Roman democracy including the slavery!
