I watched it in the theater and have had it on DVD since that was released and didn't even think of the possible pun/double meaning until your post!

The joint ethics statement was a milquetoast pile of nothing for sure, but it was better than absolutely nothing and lets the Dem nominated justices point out that they believe in ethics with the chance to actually behave ethically while the Republican nominated justices can be hypocrites while violating ethics.

Before the joint ethics statement there wasn't anything to enforce because there wasn't even a clear expectation of behavior. Now that there is something, even if it is useless on its own, there is something in writing that could be used as proof that there are some expectations for the justices that could be used for a possible impeachment of corrupt justices.

A pinky swear is better than nothing when arguing intent, even if a bunch of justices signed it because there is no explicit enforcement of pinky swears.

Nobody will want to pay, so the end result will be ads interspersed with the output.

If for one reason or another that’s not happening, or just too much or too less, then the biological process is not functioning correctly.

The range that is used to define too much or too little is based on research that starts with an assumption that there is a correct range. While some things like cholesterol have clear consistency with levels and buildup, not everything is that clearly defined.

Keep in mind that homosexuality was scientifically defined as 'not correct' for a long time based on 'biological processes not functioning correctly' because the scientists that defined it that waay assumed that sexuality only exists for procreation. While there is a difference between scientific language and common usage for a lot of things, using terms like correct and normal outside of the scientific context has harmed a lot of people and just saying that is the scientific terminology doesn't help when the scientific terminology was the problem.

A lot of people treat the founding principles like they do their religious literature, ignoring everything they don't like and keeping the tiny snippets that support what they already believe.

It is unpopular with people who understand that ditching a government program that helps everyone for a charity that can pick and choose who to help is a terrible idea.

Temps are relative to the local variation, so somewhere that has regular negative temps each winter will be a completely different experience than a place where it rarely dips below freezing. The massive amount of accidents that southern states have during the rare snows is because most people there have no experience driving in snow, a large portion might not even have all weather tires, and they don't have any infrastructure for clearing and treating roads.

The same goes for temps. When people don't have experience with very cold weather, where infrastructure not made to handle the temps is used by people who have no backup plans and often make terrible decisions when the infrastructure fail because it happens so rarely.
