Just by opening wikipedia "In computing, source code, or simply code or source, is a plain text computer program written in a programming language." So what programming language is it?
That's a stupid argument, because if you body shame you're saying some bodies are "worse" than others, regardless of the reason why. Same reason deadnaming is never good, you're just invalidating trans people to make a person you don't like feel bad.
If they have the wrong attitude, why not criticize that?
It's about preserving the consumption culture for the mainstream. If playing older games for free was easier and legal, more people that now only play the newest AAA garbage would start doing it, and corpos don't want to risk that culture change, because if it gets big enough it would definitely impact their sales.
Unfortunately not many people know or care about indie games and free games like Beyond All Reason, Shattered Pixel Dungeon, etc. as is.
Of course it matters, if the doctor asks you about your period and you don't have one. But it's the same for AMAB or AFAB people that were born without a uterus, or had it taken out.
Biology is not that cut and dry. If you medically transition you're somewhere in the middle, and that's important for your healthcare. As in, maybe you need breast cancer checks that you didn't need before, things like that.
Unless they store everything in high vacuum and near absolute zero, it's going to get oxidized and fail eventually. There is no such thing as perpetuity. Might as well give them some use.
They're welcome to call themselves gynoids, I'm just saying that android is a correct term for anthropomorphic robots in general, due to popular usage.
Anthropomorphic is only applied to non-humans by definition. So no, we're not anthropomorphic animals.
Also, android comes from "andros" meaning man, yes, but popular use has made it into a gender neutral term. Nobody is out there using the term "gynoid".
No, it's not. Unfalsifiable deities are unscientific. So being an atheist against any kind of unfalsifiable deity is scientific. And all religion is unfalsifiable by definition.
