  • I mean, it's an interpretation, so part of it is what the author thinks. For example, "he was bent on conquering", but the author says he's competitive and likes to win.

Personally I'd say a conqueror would have more to do with invading other countries, but maybe that doesn't fit Trump as well. Or does it..?

  • -Esc twice

    -:wq

    -:q!

    -kill the process

    -fuck it pull the plug

-put a bomb in the power station that powers your house

-have a cosmic ray randomly bitflip vim's internal logic making it quit

  • Can't you? What about not having "girly" hobbies because that "makes you gay"? Or having to dress a certain way? I feel like straight people aren't excluded from homophobia...

  • If we don't get rid of rich people many more species are going to be sacrificed.

  • Not a voice mod, but my voice passes as fem now, so I started talking in VC.

Started playing phasmophobia and it's a lot of fun, but sometimes you get one or two dudes that start making "funny" mysogynistic comments and it's pretty annoying cause it's the Same. Thing. Every. Time.

"Oooh it's in the kitchen, must be a woman ghost!" Looks at me to gauge my reaction.

Joins room I say hi "A FEMALE??? I'm not playing with a female" disconnects

And more. Spawntaneous is a youtuber that has a series of videos about being a "girl gamer" and it's very eye opening. You don't get that kind of people every match, but you do get them every couple hours you play, and even if you somehow find it funny the first time, it gets old really quick.

  • If you people did that, statistically they would be balanced as the comment above said. Yet they aren't. Think about it.

  • I nuked my system once. I was 5-6 years old and I deleted system32 to make space for SimCity 2000. PC didn't turn on after resetting.

I've downloaded stuff and pirated media from the internet since I was like 10 (no internet access before that). Never have I ever nuked my system from piracy, even if I may have downloaded a virus or two (without notable consequences).

I feel like clicking ads on YouTube nowadays or downloading random crap from the play store is more dangerous for your security than piracy is. I respect your decision though!

  • Yeah but it was kinda shitty from the devs, because they explicitly (on their webpage) gave everyone permission to post gameplay videos, and then dropped the DMCA on pewdiepie because he said the n word in a different video.

Not defending pewdiepie, but the devs shouldn't have proceeded that way. At least they should've asked him to take the playthrough down instead.

Edit: people downvoting didn't read this because they're upvoting the shorter comment saying the same thing lol.

  • I'm scared of it and I don't wanna ask.

  • I don't know how my brain skipped over that part, but you're totally correct!

Well, to add to the OP then, don't buy always-online games either.

I love Hitman, but fuck IOI for their business model, honestly. They don't even say they're going to patch the games to fully work offline in the future, so I don't expect that to happen.

  • Okay, and some are really good, like DF or CDDA or OpenTTD... But you're never going to find a free Dark Souls, a free Baldur's Gate 3 or a free Return to the Obra Dinn.

So I think it absolutely makes sense paying for quality games like those.

  • I'm sure the carbs are the problem, and totally not the half a kilo of ham and cheese filling.

  • I interpret it as just being a less oppressed class laughing at a more oppressed class. But it does raise a good point.

  • Paradox of tolerance. No, they are not the same.

  • If you don't see a difference between mocking people for their illness and mocking them for their anti-humanitarian views, I don't know how to explain it to you.

Cancer patients don't decide to have cancer. White supremacists decide to be pieces of shit. Not the same.

Also, cancer patients are not trying to eradicate human rights for everyone but themselves.

  • That's fine and dandy until cousin Joe Daffodil-11 stabs you at the Wendy's parking lot.

  • As I understand it, they cancelled that law in exchange of $100m from Google to support news outlets. Then, Facebook, Google and other big companies got most of that money.

Apparently, the gov then decided to give them the rest as well (by giving it to the news companies with the most employees) because fuck It.
