  • It is there but almost as a quote... It's at the end and it just says "and remember, don't be evil!". It's not part of the actual code, so I guess it's just for show and nostalgia.

  • I have my search history for that. Useless "feature".

  • So why not just grab some sugar and water and make sugary water of whatever concentration you want if needed? Is having coke available really that important?

  • It's a software RAID integrated in the filesystem, as I understand it. This video helped me understand it a bit more and it's why I'm saying ZFS is a better idea. afaik you get the good parts of raid and some more. Obviously I have very superficial knowledge on all of this though, so I recommend doing your own reading :P

  • I want to point out that RAID doesn't actively prevent bit rot and data degradation. You'll want ZFS/RAIDZ for that.

  • The weight of all those tourists isn't helping /s

  • We'll all do it and then the AI will learn and do it too, but it'll be too late for us to stop, having become a custom ingrained in the population.

  • Different joke. This one is funny because trans women have a tendency to be arch users.

Except trans lesbians, which go for debian (can confirm am debian user)

  • We're due? What, you want a world war or do you think they're inevitable?

Either way, I hope you're wrong because I know we won't watch it from afar.

  • Enshittification follows its course.

  • It's not about guilt, it's about the reality of propaganda radicalizing the population.

Of course not everyone in any of those countries is mindrotten, but that's like #NotAllMen, it's not about the individual, but the "culture".

I don't know if I agree with radical policies like what the parent comment proposes though.

  • That's why I like my steam deck so much: the design is so thoughtful and adapted to its own needs, and unfortunately that's a rare sight lately (not just in technology).

  • Well, I don't go to the beach and we don't even have dangerous sharks here. So yeah, no shit.

  • I have no idea who that is.

  • If you want it to be discoverable and easy to reach, go for YouTube. Otherwise, you have Vimeo, PeerTube (self-hosted, or you can join an instance), and that's about it.

Your other option is just regular file hosting, and sharing the file directly.

  • Because it's actually a graphic about fat distribution? lol

  • Let's do the math...

You can donate three times a year to the red cross (once every 112 days). According to some page, you donate around 10% of your blood volume each time.

That means, for a volume equivalent of 300 people, you'd need to donate 3000 times, which would take around 1000 years.

The vampire is going to need more people, or to keep a person alive 1000 years with vampire magic.
