  • In a weird way I find these kind of jokes nostalgic, because they remind me of when I was a kid reading old comic books, and all the husbands seemed to hate their wives and vice versa.

  • This rebrand is so dumb in so many ways.

  • I enjoyed Caribbean and Alaska.

  • Pretty sure Sesame Street's use of the letter X pre-dates Musk's claim to it as well.

  • You really have to wonder what was going through the developer's mind here. Did they just have excess frosted glass they needed to use?

  • I'm in Australia. 250Mbps $A85 per month

  • Match threads on sporting communities with hundreds of people commenting during the match.

  • I like the idea behind the community but it is a terrible name. Without reading an explanation, most people would assume it was some toxic, misogynistic group. I only know what it refers to because I bothered reading some of the comments here.

I'm sure there are much better names, such as Positive Masculinity for example.

  • I thought The Martian was just ok, but I didn't like Project Hail Mary. It's full of ridiculous and contrived coincidences and convenient events rather than actual problem solving. I know a lot of people love it but IMO it's very weak writing and plotting.

  • The pamphlets are a waste of time because there was no legal obligation to make them truthful or factual.

  • I have yet to see a single rational reason to vote no. I just don't get it. How could you possibly be against consulting people before you make decisions that affect those people?

Do the No voters think that the government shouldn't listen to the AMA when making health policy? That they shouldn't listen to teachers and principals when they make education policy?

  • Wanting more clarity is just a case of people trying to find a reason to vote no.

  • Writing a novel is really hard and takes a lot of skill. My advice is to start by writing short stories to develop your writing ability. Post them online to get feedback. Keep slowly improving until you are good enough to write something longer.

There are plenty of online writing sites where users post their work for feedback. One good one is Critique Circle.

  • Oh really? This is a Liftoff bug? I had assumed that lemm.ee just had an image size restriction.

  • To be fair, they are all pretty obvious except for that weird colourful star. What is that thing?

  • If Chrome suffers a catastrophic failure I won't lose my passwords because it stores them in my Google account.
