I was just curious since there was no TestFlight build to test new features for quite some time and I am really looking forward to test this feature.

I didn’t want to sound impatient, take your time!

Any news on this?

Avelon and Mlem.

Edit: And Arctic.

All three of them are native iOS Swift apps.

Indeed, I couldn’t swipe or tap on "< Back". Changing tabs worked, but I could not get out of the post.

Funnily enough I was trapped in a post and had to force close the app after reading your comment.

Have you tried Avelon (TestFlight)?

Mlem is really smooth now

Yeah, Mlem is my overall favorite and I use it since my day 1 on Lemmy. The team seems to be awesome and the performance is really awesome too.

Avelon has IMO the cleanest UI and its development looks really promising too.

It could be a bit frustrating too when you accidentally collapsed a post without knowing what happened, but overall it’s a useful optional feature.

My favorites are Avelon and Mlem.

Could we get the option/toggle back to collapse the post content? This could be helpful if you want to check back for new comments/replies without needing to scroll through the entire post again.

If I remember correctly, the "OG Mlem" had that feature or I confuse that with Apollo.

In the feed, all usernames are now orange tinted. I get that’s because it’s OP, but is it necessary in a feed view?

Also some post display options don’t apply to certain post views, this could be a bit confusing if you try a specific setting toggle but nothing in your view changes.

AdGuard (DNS) is available on any platform, you can even set up your router to use AdGuard.

Mlem is awesome, I love the app and your work. It’s really responsive and your GitHub looks like you are doing a great job coordinating all your work.

It’s really just feedback and maybe nitpicking and mostly a personal taste/opinion.

It’s the only thing I can complain about.

Collapsed comments on Mlem still take up more space than expanded comments on another app.

Also the layout and putting all the meta info in the middle does not help at all.

I love Mlem, but I wish they would stop reinventing the wheel with how to display meta info/button and make a clean, consistent layout without too much wasted whitespace

Just curious, the new/remaining Mlem dev team is different than the original creators of the app?
