  • I guess they didn't want to keep the plan for the whole Switch 2 generation, so decided to shut it down before it launch, rather than at some random time during the generation. Cause I am assuming it will be the same store for both Switch and Switch 2 (that is, the app and interface may be different, but it would be same store behind the scene, and on nintendo website)

  • Oh, that's sad. I enjoyed saving my gold coins then using them to buy a game without spending anything else.

Still, it was just something extra, so happy for the time we had it.

  • They are machines, they can have any number of issues, but generally speaking, if a game is released on a console (and it works) then it will work for you too. No worrying about configs or system requirements.

  • No info about "how to make sure game is gonna run", that is actually one of the reason I switched to console so many years ago.

BTW you don't have to worry about not being able to play physical games on PS, even if it doesn't come with optical drive by default, they will always sell the attachment. At least for next 2 or so generations (if not more), too many people with physical games exist.

  • Video looks interesting (I have just started it). If I had known it was this long I would have watched it over the weekend 😀

  • They should release some of the older Mario & Luigi games on NSO. I would like to try them out some day.

  • I can understand that, just make sure you don't get burn out.

  • Haha, that's going to take you a while. Have fun!

  • I played most of Age of Calamity, but never finished them. It was my first warriors game and really enjoyed it.

  • How far along are you in NG+? Are you going to do all the side content again? Or just the main quests?

  • Hehe, no worries, there are many games that take me months to finish, so I keep mentioning them every week for a long time.

Good luck with the remaining game!

  • Agreed, even with the issues the game is a joy to play. That is why it makes me excited for next games in the series!

  • It's always nice when a game respects your time. And it's great to see the advances and improvements people are making in the genre. Would love to (eventually) play both Ender games.

I have heard about Rabi-Ribi. Just looking at the screenshots I may have ignored the game, but have heard good things about it. They made another similar game after it TEVI, and are apparently working on a direct sequel to Rabi-Ribi now.

  • I recently got AoE 4 and lost by 1v1 Intermediate bot. Maybe I should try easy next time.

I used to play lots of AoE 2 in my younger days, and while I wasn't great, I wasn't that bad either. It's humbling to see that I can't even beat intermediate bot now.

  • That reminds me I still have to play Oxenfree too.

Thanks for the info. I may give it a try when I am looking for something different.

  • Cool. Both of them are on my wishlist, though I am not sure if I'll ever get around to Firewatch. Not a big fan of walking simulators.

  • This is about an old game for PSP, somewhere between 2008-2010. Devs used the escape clause in the contract to leave it during early stage, so the game was never made.

  • I have taken a look at it a few times, but I try to stay away from MMOs, cause if I end up liking them, I can't afford the time sink.

  • I think there’s a chance we’ll get some tweaks to this in a future patch.

    Keeping my fingers crossed.

    Favorite in recent years.

Yeah, I got that. Favourite is a favourite, even if it's not an all-time favourite.

I quite liked Hollow Knight, didn't finish it, but reached very near the end. I think one of the reason it's liked so much is that it was in the initial wave of metroidvania resurgence (or so I recall), not to mention it's a very solid game.

  • Interesting. Thanks for the tips!
