Nintendo is pretty good with releasing polished games, but who knows, let's wait and see.

No worries. There is so much nonsense drama with so many things these days, it takes real effort to understand what's happening with most stuff. Most of the times it isn't even worth it 😀

This year's focus is Nintendo first party games, so I may end up playing Engage soon-ish, but it's probably going to take me 3-4 months just to finish XCX, so who knows.

Just some background, Nintendo is releasing "Switch 2 enhanced edition" of some Switch games, and there was confusion whether these games will have all data on the cartridge or will only have Switch 1 version, with Switch 2 update as download. So, this clarifies that this is not the case, and the physical versions will have full games available on cartridge.

Enhanced editions shouldn't need those, but yes, if they are any they won't be on the cartridge. That's how physical copy on release works.

Nah, they are published by Ubisoft, so they go on regular ubisoft style sales. They are pretty good games though. I haven't played the second one yet, but first one was really well made and polished game.

Their Mario + Rabbids games are also great.

It used to be nice, but then they created 4 different kind of passes, and you have to buy them everytime, that is, you don't earn in-game currency from them.

Meh, I have only watched first 5 mins and video is too biased, and not all points are correct. Even some of the correct points are arguable whether they are actually as bad as it make them sound or not. Just seems like an anti-nintendo rant, which is fine, people have the right to rant.

They should have made them taste even worse!

Heh, agreed. You still have to vote, but you just end up on losing side more often than not.

Though, I can't point fingers at anyone anymore, cause this once I am one of those annyoing fan who are still going to buy it.

Nintendo filed that patent about joysticks that wouldn't get drift, like Hall Effect, but some other tech without magnets (IIRC), I was hoping we may see it in Switch 2. Seems like either it wasn't ready yet, or it was just one of the random patents companies regularly file.
