    There's currently only one affinity mission that I can do but I skipped, cause it said it's mainly in Sylvalum. It's Phog's affinity mission, and recommended level is 21, so it shouldn't be too tough...

  • Most probably graphics / nividia issue. But not a general issue, related to the configuration or hardware or something.

    For most such cases when you can't figure out anything, it's generally a good idea to ask in your distro's support forum. There are people who can usually help you debug a few things. It doesn't always solve your problem, but you can get some possible pointers.

  • Kirby’s Return to Dreamland

    How long to beat says main game is about 7 hours long, so not very long, but completionist is at 25 hours, so dunno.

  • I like the Cacodemon more. Both the floating one and the one that you can play doom on. Let's pool our money and buy it together, you keep the Box, I'll keep the Cacodemon, we can sell the rest for $500 😀

  • Personally, I think sellers can demand whatever they want for luxury goods. It's on buyers to decide if it's worth it or not.

    It's still annoying for me people like me, who can't afford these though.

  • Not surprised. Pretty much any company will do that (or at least try to). It's one thing to leak some info like a game is in development or release date, and it's completely different to leak design documents and source code.

  • Don't know about Rivals, but in Fortnite they also tell you to use their creator code, which gives them some commission any time someone buys something. Affiliate marketing, basically. So, it makes sense for them to go to shop and show all the shiny new skins and how great they are.

  • Wow... That's some major difference.

  • I haven't played Splitfiction yet but It Takes Two is less puzzle and more platforming. It isn't difficult in general, but there are some sections that would be difficult for non-gamers. I am playing it with my kid these days and haven't finished it, but it seems that playing with the man is easier than woman (they both have different skills and tasks), it may change in the later half though.

  • Interesting. And I agree that traversal speed is pretty good, though I can't recall how it compares with other games in the series.

  • If you have a system that supports it, try It Takes Two, or the next game by the same devs, Splitfiction (coming to Switch 2), they are great co-op games, where you need to co-operate.

    That's the best kind of puzzle games IMO, where they aren't that easy that you don't even have to think about it, nor they are so difficult that you get stuck.

  • Yeah, there have been multiple times when I have thought that the game isn't as good as XC3, which is not to say it's a bad game at all. But comparatively speaking XC3 is much better. But just as you said, it's a decade old game, and Monolith made 2 more games after that, so it makes sense that they improved their future games. Still having lots of fun with it. Specially the story.

    Is this games smaller than other XC games? Or are you just playing a lot? The map does feel smaller, though I am just going by the map screen. Haven't actually explored most of it yet.
