So now there are people with 120+ mile round trip commutes because they live within the cutoff distance. Nearly all meetings are video calls anyway due to team members being scattered all over the world. When folks asked leadership why in a company-wide meeting months ago they basically said to suck it up.
This has morale pretty low, when it was already terrible even for folks that prefer in-person and live close. Some quit after the announcement. The brain drain is already causing an impact because there’s so much tribal knowledge and teams are silo’d as hell.
Never seen a company so out of touch or be so openly hostile to their workers. It’s just wild.
Ours made everyone come back to work at one office if they live within 60 miles. Datacenter floor is collapsing. Two areas are closed due to vermin being exterminated. Charmed life.
The snes controller was fine as it was but the regular Genesis controller was incredibly balky. So the turbo was a step up until I got the 6-button. Definitely took a lot of time to get used to.
Enderal. Went in blind. So far, lots of screaming and running from spiders when my mana runs out. Story and dialog actually has some meat, so am enjoying.
The Tex Mechanica guns are my favorite. Especially Cayde’s revolver, Ace of Spades. The clockwork sounds and the holster and ready animations where you twirl it… very satisfying.
Here’s to hoping. It’s exhausting. I can’t have a single conversation without them slyly trying to slip in some earworm or go off on a tirade unexpectedly because I inadvertently trigger them.

I get less motion sickness with higher refresh rates. But anything above 120hz makes no tangible difference. I’m more interested in OLED and color accuracy.
