I use a pixel with graphineOS and it's more while apps in my work profile are awful, apples in my main are all open source. I think the issue is the all mobile devices are tracking devices out of the box

The reason is locked bootloader's, some carriers lock the pixels bootloader down meaning you can't install custom roms. Some lock it until the device is paid off or during a 90 day period.

The Pixel 8 Pro is likely the best. You can flash graphine or pretty much any rom. Samsung really doesn't have custom roms anymore. If you get a pixel buy it from the Google Store

My main issue is the US considers Israel bad misinformation

I feel what streaming services did was repeat cable, like we cut the cord just to bring it back.

While I get misinformation sucks, I kinda dislike the stateization approach toward social media, I'm almost worried that if they found out about the fediverse they would make us get a special social media licence proving we are multi billion dollar company with a misinfo task force to run an instance.
