Having both types of people is important to a healthy society. The world needs paladins, those willing to wield violence in the pursuit of justice. A society without them would be ripe for strongarming by anyone with a loose set of morals and empty pockets. But we also need people like you, to keep us in check, so that the whole world might not go blind from our eye for an eye.

During rehearsal, the Germans begin their raid on Shornemead Fort, where said drag rehearsing troops were stationed. British Chads, without even stopping to change back into uniform, immediately man the naval guns and return fire on the Germans. One of them, instead of passing the ammo, took a photo of this because how could you not, it's incredible.

Second this, you'll get a couple sweatlords every now and then especially if you're running end game content but the first 100 or more hours of gameplay are absolutely pleasant. I only interacted with the reddit group outside of game but those guys were also nice.

There's plenty of people to do work. People don't want to do your work, if the job sucks and the pay matches. Shitty job? Pay a high wage. We don't have a shortage of sanitation workers because those guys are paid like kings. We DO have a shortage of Burger King employees because not one person in the world wants to deal with that bullshit for less than $10 an hour. People have shown time and time again that they're willing to work the most soul crushing bullshit jobs in existence if they're paid well enough to make it worth their time. But no one wants to pay a wage that an employee can survive on, so "nobody wants to work". No, just nobody wants to work for you.
In addition to that, the reason the population is declining is because the younger generation can't afford to have kids because nobody wants to pay a livable wage. I can barely support myself and my partner with both of us working and living with another couple as roommates, and we all have pretty good jobs that pay well over minimum wage. If any one of the four of us had a child we would all four enter poverty. This is extremely common, and we're better off (if only moderately) than most people in a similar situation.
The minimum wage was last raised 14 years ago where it was taken to $7.25 an hour, which already didn't keep up with the cost of living at the time but since then inflation has continued to grow unchecked and many employers still don't want to pay out any higher than they are forced to by law.
They're getting ballsy these days too. I'm required to answer the phone at work because it's a business line, but as a result we get an absolute ton of spam or empty lines. I've had them spoof the local hospital's phone number several times. I got a call from the motherfuckin' USDA the other day (allegedly), like the government agency. Empty line. Once I got a call on my cell phone from my own phone number, that was interesting.
Except for that one spot where you have to shoot at an unmarked wall to blow up some bricks to continue on the main game path. I understand having secrets behind unmarked walls but that bit really bothered me. It was the only time during my playthrough that I had to look up where to go next. The rest of Dread is really, really good at leading you in the right direction without feeling like it's holding your hand and is honestly a marvel of game design.
No problem with using ancient machines so long as they're properly air gapped. But, yeah... continuing maintenance is going to get increasingly difficult as time continues to pass.
How often are you throwing your phone in the ocean? Perhaps try not doing that, and you'll find that "fully waterproof" is completely unnecessary. Mediocre water resistance will protect most consumer electronics from damage up to 30 feet deep, and unless you're trying to FaceTime your mom while on a scuba dive, you will not encounter a use case where "fully waterproof" would have made the difference. Basic electronics care will cover keeping the phone away from water, and any water found in the home that it may be accidentally dropped in won't be deep enough or high pressure enough to penetrate a properly sealed battery door.
Not even just checking out, everyone with an Instagram account had a Threads account created or linked for them with no user input. This was done on purpose in order to boost their user count on launch. Probably 80% of people with a Threads account have never once opened the platform.
If it bothers you that much, write one. 85% of Linux was constructed by frustrated nerds deciding to write their own solution to a problem they found. There is no parent company to complain to, just fix it yourself and distribute the solution. Else, you'll need to wait for someone else to do exactly that.

Great list. I do have to pop in and say though, amateur mushroom foraging is a ludicrously deadly hobby. I'd advise against that for most people. A mushroom that's tasty and a mushroom that kills you dead in minutes sometimes look extremely very much the same.
Now granted most people aren't likely to stumble across a ring of Death Caps in their local innawoods, but still, fungi are to be respected and generally not fucked with. Some of those Gi's are not as Fun as they'd like you to think, and trained and true mycologists have been killed by misidentification.
