  • Don't worry, Congress holds the purse/wallet so nothing can get done without their approval as they have the spending power. That is unless they hijack the payment systems to no longer require congress and making complete control one step closer...

    Ohhhh... wait....

  • I wonder at what point people are going to use force to stop this coup, at this point everyone is just watching laws and systems being broken and dimantled with no regard.

Is the media in the US that controlled that their people just don't see what is happening?

  • The US has strategically used tariffs with great success over the last decades to get favorable pricing from Canada on everything from energy, softwood, potash, you name it. One item at a time, slowly, methodically they were able to bring down pricing. We have been giving the US extremely good prices, and now, because of Trump he has just flipped the board over and it's time to restart.

America will be far worse off than before this started, and this has leveled off the playing field again with Canada.

As a Canadian I am thrilled.

  • Crank up the prices of 25-50% Potash too, its too short supply to get a different supplier and if they don't use it the crops will fail. The US has worked our relationship carefully for decades to get some huge trade advantages from Canada, and Trump just blew it all up.

USA has already lost more than they can ever gain.

  • Carney is the clear choice, I don't think Canada is ready for a woman in this current political climate, it's more about keeping the fascists at bay at this point.

I thought Kamala Harris was a good pick and should have won, but I was proven very wrong.
