Perhaps the stocks were massively overvalued and any negative news was going to start this sell off regardless of its actual impact?

That is my theory anyway.

It is also because the USA is the reserve currency of the world with open capital markets.

Savers of the world (including countries like Germany and China who have excess savings due to constrained consumer demand) dump their savings into US assets such as stocks.

This leads to asset bubbles and an uncompetitively high US dollar.

Does it still need people spending huge amounts of time to train models?

After doing neural networks, fuzzy logic, etc. in university, I really question the whole usability of what is called "AI" outside niche use cases.

The seeds of this started in the George Bush era and earlier.

The compliant press that cheer led the Iraq war.

The formation of an oligarchy that hugely influenced economic policy.

The attacks on experts, scientists and general modern science.

The vicious attacks on liberals and anybody else who opposed them.

The infiltration of far-right Christians into the highest levels of government and the military.

I think they have accidently mislabelled "Average Israeli" with"Israeli Extremists" given settlers are actively supported by the Israeli government, protected by the IDF and any resistance by Palestinians is met with detention without trial.

In my view, Social media is a big factor in creating echo chambers and disinformation.

Consolidation in markets has led to high prices, poor service, poor competition and bloated oligopolies.

Governments should be intervening to break up these oligopolies but have been captured by these vested interests.

Civilian infrastructure has been deliberately targeted, all the hospitals bombed, graveyards deliberately razed, universities have had their antiquities looted and then demolished, all water infrastructure deliberately destroyed, all fisheries/bakeries/food production facilities deliberately destroyed, etc.

There are numerous instances of literal war crimes including murder captured on camera.

Multiple reports from numerous organisations that Israel is deliberately obstructing aid into Gaza.

There are random "kill zones" declared and randomly moved around which the IDF use to murder everyone within it.

In Jerusalem and the West Bank, Israelis are literally ethnically cleansing Armenians and Palestinians out of the Armenian quarter and other areas. No Hamas there. Just plain ethnic cleansing.

When I quit reddit, it occurred to me that after 10 years, I hadn't made a single friend there.

Now many of these remaining BBS forums have a constant battle against bots.

Dead internet theory is becoming true.

Bots talking to bots will be 90% of the internet.

What are people using to monitor this?
