What do you do though when you need to compile a driver for some hardware you have and install it manually on Bazzite? Recently had that case, and switched to Mint because of it.

But I don't think anyone should tolerate intolerance. If it's part of your culture to subjugate women and hate LGBTQ people or other religions, you will have to change that part of your culture or fuck all the way off.

Both the US and Europe would be much nearer to that level if any migration was allowed unchecked. It is becoming a problem in Europe and it is growing. It's just a sad reality that democracy can't consist of people who don't believe in democracy.

Problems start when the people coming in don't share those sentiments and instead want their authoritarian culture to replace and dominate.

Edit: also, in the West democracy and equality have become part of our culture and tradition, for the most part, and those values just are not shared by lots of migrants. And you can't tolerate those values being replaced. It's the paradox of tolerance.

I think it's partly leftover dribble from the inane Gaia "theory" that was so strong in hippie circles. Everything natural (like bacteria in milk) is good, and you know, gut bacteria, yogurt, 's all good, right?

Combine that with "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" beliefs that they don't realize come from right wing nuts and you got a perfect diarrhea inducing cocktail that we all get to pay for with our taxes and our nerves.

Just finally switched my gaming PC to Linux mint. It works flawlessly. I can even re-use the steam game files I downloaded on Windows. Never going back.

I guess that the commentor meant that those kinds of thoughts don't get you jobs, and doesn't know how easy it is to get a job with a degree in either of those fields. Same for the upvoters.

Stay married for the health insurance, everybody start seeing other people. Your wife's depression is (probably) not your responsibility. Tell your daughter (and each other) love is not as simple as made out in movies, but can be much more. Everyone's happiness is more important than following traditional ways. Always stay respectful towards everyone involved.
