  • 'But trump was on the phone with insurance companies to hurricane victims! Trump personally delivered truckloads of supplies! Trump gifted his salary to-'

And on... and on... and on... forever the anticdote of 'personal genorosity' while it's clear these human cesspits spew hatrid and worship personal greed.

Those kind of anticdotes are what my family use to defend the man. These 'proofs' that he's just a decent guy getting harassed by the world.

  • Oh I'm sure there was pork there, but to just dismissi t out of hand is kinda disengenouls especially when all the politicians (mostly republican) that voted against it tried snapping up credit come time for the ribbon cutting and new construction to aged infrastructure.

Granted Manchan and Senna opposed the build back better initiative and both were explicitely paid off by fossil fuel industry wonks... And i figure if they're in opposition, 'I want it even more out of sheer fucking spite to you greedy assholes that make money killing the planet my niece is going to have to live in.'

  • I'm genuinely surprised Trump killed the CHIPS act, when he could've let that roll through and taken credit for it as the whole POINT of that was to improve US manufacturing.

Also reintroduce the build back better with whatever re-branding.

If he were truly interested in american manufacturing he'd have gone all in on these.

But no. he wants company owners and worldl eaders to come to him and beg for exemptions.

  • I'm using a desktop that's an off lease machine I bought in 2016 that was new in 2012 (haswel architecture.)

about the one thing I HAVEN'T replaced on it is the power supply and fans. It's been a pretty good box.

  • I have three ideas. Any armchair constitutional law experts feel free to tell me why this is dumb.

1.) Term Limits for 'any and all officials elected.' Two terms each and no person who has become ineledgable for the US presidency may be vice president, speaker of the house, or otherwise within the chain of succession should the possibility of their ascending to the president be needed.

2.) Clear enforcement mechanisms if 'any government official elected or otherwise be found in violation of constitution or ammendment statuets.' As is, Trump's effectivly going 'Well I'm not obeying you. whatcha gonna DO to me?'

3.) Clear accountability proceedures for supreme court justices.
