  • I think it's a joke - it's an absurd comparison so I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously

  • who pays the journalists? who sets editorial policy? who prevents the journalists from unionizing?

  • it's more his support for the rest of US foreign policy. his views on Palestine are fine.

  • contra's godawful takes on NB people / gender in general + her tendency to triple down when criticized really soured me on her content. it took all the fun out of the theater for me.

  • if the word hate were written on every nano-angstrom of every atom in my body, it would not equal one tenth of my hatred for cops

  • good news - it's possible to fight back without leaving your current job. if you band together with your coworkers and bargain collectively, the petty tyrants won't have a choice but to accede to your demands - we don't need them but their companies will crumble without us. the reason they've gotten away with it for 50 years is because unions got gutted but it's high time for a change. you can make the difference at your workplace!

  • nothing I'm willing to talk about on a public forum. doxxing myself would be quite the oopsie.

  • updates invariably break things, whatever we do. the safety net of being able to roll back makes taking updates a lot more palatable.

    yeah, like I said it has a learning curve so it's not for everyone but it's been a lifesaver for me so I thought I'd point it out.
