I think it's a joke - it's an absurd comparison so I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously

who pays the journalists? who sets editorial policy? who prevents the journalists from unionizing?

it's more his support for the rest of US foreign policy. his views on Palestine are fine.

good news - it's possible to fight back without leaving your current job. if you band together with your coworkers and bargain collectively, the petty tyrants won't have a choice but to accede to your demands - we don't need them but their companies will crumble without us. the reason they've gotten away with it for 50 years is because unions got gutted but it's high time for a change. you can make the difference at your workplace!

nothing I'm willing to talk about on a public forum. doxxing myself would be quite the oopsie.

updates invariably break things, whatever we do. the safety net of being able to roll back makes taking updates a lot more palatable.

yeah, like I said it has a learning curve so it's not for everyone but it's been a lifesaver for me so I thought I'd point it out.
