No, Musk pays people to level up characters, and then pretends he's a big-shot player.

Do that with the real world, and there are some really destructive real-world consequences.

Basically:

• The US stops supplying Ukraine with weapons.
• The ability to sell more oil enables Russia to acquire more weapons

This results in zerg rushes being able to eventually take Ukrainian positions because there just aren't the dones, artillery shells, and ammunition to repel them.

They're pretty disorganized about it all:

Most of the existing makers make them now, but it's often really hard to get a dealer to actually sell you one.

Yeah. The problem with dealers is that fossil cars need more service, and that's where the dealer makes money. So dealers of legacy brands push fossil cars much harder than EVs.

For a dedicated EV brand, having no dealers is a money grab, since you don't need to have the dealer turn a profit.

We've had a lot of those so far; for the most part, people are getting court orders to put things back. It's that the Musk/Trump administration keeps doing new things, for which there isn't yet a court order telling them to stop it.

The other civil servants around them are likely to welcome back colleagues.

It's not yet clear that the courts will go along with it.

And be reinstated by the courts. But that takes time

State murder law applies, so it won't do the killers much good

There is definitely more they can do to slow things down (eg reject unanimous consent every time) and they've largely started voting as an opposition bloc at this point.

And show up for a protest. People see those and realize that they're not alone in opposition.

He's seeing a lot — but they they're a minority in both houses of Congress, which means that:

• They can't prevent nominees from being confirmed
• They can't stop budget legislation if Republicans are united about it
• They can't even hold official hearings with subpoena power

What they can do:

• Slow things down - insisting on the maximum amount of debate on every nomination
• Block non-budget legislation in the Senate

So far they've started slowing things down a fair bit, but not by the maximum possible, and non-budget legislation hasn't yet moved in the Senate.
